Every year, the Australian Law Students' Association organises the
national tournaments at the July Conference to determine which
university should take home the Champions' Cup. In many competitions,
the winners go on to compete at the international finals. In 2008,
UNSW won the ALSA Witness Examination competition, bringing home the
silver Champions' Cup for the first time in ten years. This year, we
want to send our finest to compete, and the Law Society is prepared to
fund students at $740 per person to go to the ALSA July Conference in
Brisbane to return some more silver Cups to their rightful halls. See below for conditions.*
Following the success of the 2008 Breaking Down Boundaries Conference, we’re looking for interested volunteers to help coordinate the four forums of the upcoming 2009 Conference.
You will be an integral part of the Programmes Committee, and in particular we are looking for volunteers who have a passion for cutting-edge social justice issues in any area of the law.

Firm presentations have now begun in the lead up to the opening of clerkship applications. Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to inform yourselves, and meet the staff face-to-face in the informal luncheons that will follow each presentation!
