Negotiations
Negotiations involve a meeting between two legal teams, each made up of two participants, representing their respective clients with the aim of resolving a dispute. They play a crucial role in the legal field, as successful negotiations can help avoid the need for litigation. The Negotiations Competition is designed to develop competitors’ creativity, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. These are valuable across a wide range of careers and provide practical experience that is not typically gained through core law subjects.
Internal Negotiations Competitions
UNSW Law Society offers three Negotiations Competitions based on the competitor's skill and level.
