The UNSW Law Society is the peak representative body for all students in the law school, seeking to represent, support and enrich our diverse cohort through providing students with a diverse range of opportunities that aim to enrich their Law School experience.
The Law Society is host to various events, publications and activities throughout the year, including the coordination of mooting and skills competitions, the publication of careers and educationalguides, the hosting of Speakers’ Forums and Q&A sessions with prominent figures in society, and providing networking and mentoring opportunities. We also place a strong emphasis on social justice issues through its awareness raising events and its publications, which aim to cultivate student contributions to the wider community.
The Law Society also aims to foster a strong sense of community and collegiality within the Law School through its social events including its annual Law Ball, Law Cruise, Intervarsity Sporting Competitions and the First Year Law Camp.
In 2013, the UNSW Law Society will continue working towards enriching our students’ academic and social life, as well as provide support for their career development.
We look forward to meeting you through the various events and initiatives hosted by the Law Society and we wish you the best of luck in your university career.
Regards,
Nathan Huynh & Kara Grimsley | Co-Presidents
