Competition Schedule and Eligibility

Beginner Mooting Competition: Offered to all first year undergraduate and JD students who have not completed Introducing Law and Justice (LAWS1052/JURD7152) or Torts (LAWS1061/JURD7161).
Intermediate Mooting Competition: Offered to all undergraduate students who have not yet completed all of the following courses: Crime and the Criminal Process (LAWS1021), Criminal Laws (LAWS1022) and Principles of Private Law (LAWS1150).
Offered to all second year JD students.
Senior Mooting Competition: Offered to all students in their third year and above who are currently completing or have completed Contracts (LAWS1075/JURD7275) or who are ineligible to compete in both Beginners and Intermediate.

Beginners Negotiation Competition: Offered to all first year undergraduate or JD students
Intermediate Negotiation Competition: Offered to all second year undergraduate or JD students
Advanced Negotiation Competition: Offered to all third year or above undergraduate or JD students

Beginners Client Interviewing: Offered to all first or second year undergraduate or JD students
Advanced Client Interviewing: Offered to all third year or above undergraduate or JD students

Witness Examination: The Law Society offers one Witness Examination competition open for all students
