The 2015 university year is coming to a close and you are all invited to attend our Annual General Meeting on Thursday, 15 October from 1pm to 2pm. It will be held at LAWG02. Lunch will be provided to all those who attend the AGM.
The AGM will concern:
Presidents’ Report, detailing the achievements of the Society during the year;
Treasurer’s Report, detailing the financial performance of the Society during the year; and
Motion to allow the Vice-President (Public Interest Careers) to commence her term following the conclusion of the AGM, due to the casual vacancy of this position.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but wish to contribute to the resolution of the above motions, please see the attached proxy form.
In the event that you are unable to attend the AGM, you may proxy your vote. Proxying your vote is not compulsory. The process is as below:
Complete the proxy form, including your signature.
Ask another member who will be attending the meeting to receive your proxy vote and sign the proxy form as well. If they do not attend the meeting, your proxy vote cannot be used.
You must select whether your proxy can vote as they see fit, or; to vote as you indicate on the form with reference to the agenda.
Each attendee at the AGM may only hold one proxy vote - i.e. they may vote themselves and then vote on behalf of one other person.
Membership will be checked at the door.
Completed proxy forms must be emailed from the university email of the person proxying their vote to email@example.com by 9am, Tuesday 13 October or submitted to the Presidents' tray in the UNSW Law Society office by 9am, Tuesday 13 October.
