Then come along to UNSW Law Society's Careers in International Public Law Speaker's Panel! We have an exciting lineup of speakers with extensive backgrounds working in the various practice areas of international public law, who will share their experiences and give advice on how to pursue a career.

Speakers include: 

Chris Sidoti - former director of the International Service for Human Rights (ISHR), Australian Human Rights Commissioner (1995-2000), Australian Law Reform Commissioner (1992-1995) and Foundation Director of the Australian Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission (1987-1992). 

Dr John Pace - former Secretary to the United Nations Human Rights Commission and coordinator of the Vienna World Conference (1990-1993). He has conducted human rights abuse investigations in Cuba, Chile, South Africa, Afghanistan, Poland and Palestine. John is currently a visiting fellow of the Australian Human Rights Centre. 

Justine Nolan - former director of the Business and Human Rights program at the Lawyers Committee for Human Rights in the USA. Justine has worked closely with the United Nations on a number of business and human rights initiatives and was a member of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade & Ausaid's Human Rights Grants Scheme Expert Panel. She is also an advisory member of NSW Legal Aid's Human Rights Panel.
