We hope you're all enjoying a well-earned break from your studies! As the year winds to a close, the Law Society is coming at you with a couple of publications which we hope will make your life a little easier.

First up, we have the UNSW Law Society Government & Alternative Careers Guide 2009-2010. Put together over the course of the past year, the guide includes interviews with former High Court Justice The Hon. Michael Kirby, journalist Lisa Pryor, NSW Supreme Court Justice Patricia Bergin (Chief Judge in Equity), NSW Senior Public Defender Mark Ierace, and a host of professionals using their law degrees outside the world of corporate law. Wondering what electives to pick up next year? The UNSW Law Society Law Electives Guide offers a solution. Going beyond the limited online handbook, the Electives Guide contains analysis and insight from both lecturers AND students on many of the electives offered by the Law Faculty. The guide is a must-read before enrolment commences next month. You can find the guide attached to this email.

Hard copies of both these publications can also be picked up from outside the LawSoc office on Level 3 of the Law building - along with the last edition of Poetic Justice for the year.  Hurry - stocks are limited!
