- Promote student involvement
- Provide opportunities, both educational and social, to be active within the Law Society
- Encourage students interaction with a range of peers
- Afford better access to, and publication of, Law Society events and activities through Law Society mediums of communication
- Effectively manage student expectations
- Establish and implement feedback systems
- Represent the interests of law students
- Liaise with the Law Faculty and the greater UNSW community to represent and promote the interests of law students
- Ensure the goals of the Law Society are met through an efficient allocation of resources
- Guarantee that equity and diversity is upheld in all aspects of the Law Society’s operation, and that grievance procedures are followed when necessary
- Promote continuity between years to ensure knowledge and experience is passed on for the benefit of future Law Societies
- Advance links and relationships with sponsors
- Ensure students are equipped with the necessary knowledge to make informed career decisions, including creating opportunities for students to network
- Maintain funding to effectively enable the efficient running of the Law Society
- Accountability
- Provide clear outline of roles and responsibilities of every role
- Disclose key reforms and resource allocation
